The cosy, comfortable and completely equipped non-smoker vacation house (built in 2001) is situated above the little village Vila Franca do Campo, an ideal strategic starting-point for many vacation activities and island trips. Beautiful rural environment, nice sandy beaches and fantastic views to the sea and the neighbour island Santa Maria are combined with all shopping- and leisure possibilities (such as whale watching, diving, golf, deep sea fishing) directly nearby. You are living in a very quiet former pineapple plantation of 4000 sqm, looking over the village, the Atlantic and the nearby 'Islet da Vila'. On the 1st floor of the house are the bathroom and a double bed sleeping-room. On the ground-floor you can go from the completely equipped, comfortable living/ kitchen-room (with a third bed) to the terrace. After a short time this will be your second living-room and from here you will enjoy the quietness and beautiful view after an active vacation-day.

On the biggest Acorean, Island Sao Miguel, is our little village of Vila Franca do Campo. Situated on the sunny and quiet south coast of the island, it is an ideal and central starting-point for sightseeing- and walking tours. Most of the sand beaches of the island are nearby, three of them you can reach directly by foot. A few minutes away you find quiet and mysterious places, to natural reserves like 'Lagoa do Fogo' or 'Lagoa do Congro' you can go on walking-trails starting directly from here. But you don´t have to miss the comforts of life. Within 10 minutes of walking you find a big supermarket, other shops of all kinds, nice restaurants, fishermen-pubs, an water park, scuba diving centres, dolphin-whale watching basis, sauna etc. From May to September a little ferryboat brings passengers to the nearby volcano-islet 'Ilheu da Vila', a natural reserve. Swimming, snorkelling or diving in the saltwater-lake of the exstinct little volcano is an unforgettable experience.
